Q: How much do you charge?
A: Wedding day coverage begins at $3600. Portrait sessions begin at $500. All collections and pricing are customized to your specific needs, so please feel free to reach out for my pricing guide.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would describe my style of photography as timeless, classic and genuine with a focus on organic moments and natural interactions. I want you to not only see, but FEEL your photos. They should take you back to that moment in time so you can relive it over and over again for years to come. There is such joy to be found in all the in between moments that make a wedding special, while also taking time to create gorgeous portraits, family formals and bridal party photos. I will guide you through the day gently and naturally while always, ALWAYS, look for the best light. These philosophies apply to all my sessions, including family, newborn, engagement and more.
Q: What equipment do you use?
A. I use Sony cameras, lenses and lighting equipment including backup equipment. All equipment is maintained and serviced regularly.
Q: How many photographers will be at my wedding?
A: That is up to you! Because every collection is customized to each client, it is entirely up to you how many photographers will be at your wedding. Having a small, intimate wedding? You are probably good to go with one photographer. Having a big wedding with lots of events and guests? You might want to consider adding a second.
Q: Do you edit all our photos?
A: I sure do! Every photo you receive will be individually edited. This might take a teensy extra bit of time, but I believe it is worth it to give you the absolute best images possible.
Q: How many photos can we expect?
A. On average you will receive 75-100 images per hour of coverage. This number can very based on the size of the wedding and number of events, such as toasts, formal dances, and length of ceremony. Rest assured, your event will be covered thoroughly and intentionally.
Q: Will we get all our photos? Can we print them ourselves?
A: Yes and yes! All your high resolution photos will be delivered via online gallery, which you can then download from and share with any family and friends you would like to be able to do the same. You can also print your photos in any quantity and at any size you desire, via any photo printing service you prefer. Additionally there is an option to order prints from your gallery, to make things extra simple.
Q: We’’re having a destination wedding, do you travel?
A: Yes! I love destination weddings! Send me more information on your travel plans and I will create a custom wedding collection to best suit your needs.
Q: Do you charge a travel fee?
A: Travel fees may apply outside the Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area and Tahoe. Please feel free to reach out to get a more accurate estimate on travel. Engagement sessions outside the Sacramento area will incur a travel fee at a rate of $75/hr of travel.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: ABSOLUTELY! This is essential and I would be happy to provide proof of insurance to you or your venue.
Q: Do you only shoot weddings?
A: No, I have the pleasure of shooting families, births, maternity, newborn and more. One of my favorite things is to follow along with my couples as they get engaged, marry and grow their families. This is a huge honor for me and I love it!
Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?
A: A deposit of $1000 and a signed contract are required to reserve your date. The contract and deposit are electronic and can be completed at your convenience right from your computer. Please be aware that dates are reserved on a first come first served basis and I cannot guarantee your date without a deposit or signed contract.
