Katie is everything you would want in a wedding photographer and more. My husband and I are both a bit shy and awkward in front of the camera, but Katie effortlessly talked us through each pose as she clicked her camera. Although I generally do not enjoy taking a ton of photos, the sessions never felt like work, but hanging out with a (very professional) friend who happened to be taking our photos. At both our weddings, she was so patient with all our family members who we wanted to be included in the photos. With her calming presence and get it done attitude, Katie is the perfect balance.

Welcome to the world of wedding planning! Overwhelmed yet? I get it, weddings can be a be…a lot. So let me help! The first step to eliminating the stress is picking vendors you are excited about and TRUST to absolutely kill it for you. That’s where I come in. I’m Katie, and I am a Sacramento wedding photographer with over 15 years experience documenting peoples most cherished moments and making the experience easy and fun at the same time. With experience comes insight and after shooting hundreds of weddings, boy do I have some to share. I have developed a system that takes the guess work out of planning and a philosophy that allows you to fully take in the day while knowing when it is all over you’re going to have gorgeous photos to remember it by. I specialize in candid wedding photography that is timeless, and looks and feels like YOU. Forget stiff poses and rigid timelines, your day is meant to be experienced and enjoyed. I work with my couples side by side, asking questions and listening to your vision, to make sure we prioritize what you value most. This results in not only incredible photos you will treasure but the ability to be truly in the moment on your day, from beginning to end. If you are looking for someone to walk you through the process every step of the way, cheer you and your love on, and probably cry a little bit behind the camera,, then I am your girl.
