I’m Katie, a Sacramento wedding photographer, and I have had the privilege of documenting peoples most treasured moments for over 15 years. I want your wedding to be everything you have dreamed of, and that starts with selecting people who align with your vision to help it come to life. Katie is everything you would want in a wedding photographer and more. My husband and I are both a bit shy and awkward in front of the camera, but Katie effortlessly talked us through each pose as she clicked her camera. Although I generally do not enjoy taking a ton of photos, the sessions never felt like work, but hanging out with a (very professional) friend who happened to be taking our photos. At both our weddings, she was so patient with all our family members who we wanted to be included in the photos. With her calming presence and get it done attitude, Katie is the perfect balance.

Hi, I’m Katie
I specialize in candid wedding photography that blends natural interactions and an artistic eye to tell your unique story. I guide my couples through each step of the process, asking questions and listening to your vision, to make sure we prioritize what you value most. After photographing hundreds of weddings, I have refined my approach to ensure you receive not only incredible photos but an exception experience to go with them. If you are looking for someone to be in your corner every step of the way, cheer you and your love on, and probably cry a little bit behind the camera, then I am your girl. I can’t wait to capture your story.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you can usually find me at one of my son’s baseball games, on my patio reading something I’ve gotten lost in, or on the couch watching a classic 90’s movie with my family.
