First look in the beautiful Monte Verde Inn sunroom

Doni and Brian chose to do a first look on their wedding day, and the sunroom at the Monte Verde Inn is the perfect choice for this moment. It is private, has gorgeous light and is right down the stairs from the getting ready area, which makes it a beautiful and easy choice. It was a beautiful moment just for the two of them and they both agreed it was one of their favorite parts of the day.

After their first look Doni and Brian had set aside some time to do portraits together before the ceremony. During the planning process Doni and Brian expressed that they would like to spend as much time as possible together on their wedding day, and a first look with portraits after is the perfect way to do that. As a bonus, you're also freshly put together, with your hair and makeup looking amazing. We had a lovely time chatting and casually walking the property while we took their photos. It was relaxed and fun, everything I want for my couples to experience on their wedding day.

Ceremony under the trees at Monte Verde Inn

The Monte Verde Inn ceremony area is a special spot set under the trees and feels like a hidden oasis. The trees offer shade, which is nice for the ceremony and allows even light no matter the weather. It is intimate and allows your guests to feel like they are truly part of the day. Doni and Brian chose to have a short and sweet ceremony that included personal vows and lots of laughter.

After a quiet moment alone in the sunroom with some champagne and bites to eat, we were ready to do family photos and some more couples portraits. Everyone was so overjoyed and excited for D+B it made the energy all around us so fun. We quickly got family photos taken care of so everyone could enjoy cocktail hour and then I walked around with D+B for a few more portraits and a little more one on one time before the reception. I loved spending time with these two and seeing their love firsthand. It was as authentic and genuine as it gets and I feel honored they trusted me to capture it.

Monte Verde Inn wedding mean dinner under the stars

Unless you have inclement weather on your wedding day (in which case the ballroom turns into a gorgeous intimate dinner space), you will be dining outside on the beautiful lawn area next to the Inn, as the skies slowly turn the gorgeous reds and oranges of sunset. In the fall, you will even get to dine under the stars, which adds such a dreamy feel to the evening. Doni and Brian did just that, while they listened to their loved ones give heartfelt toasts celebrating their love. There was even a poem that a friend wrote just for them that was a true show stopper. The dance party started and the energy never wavered. They danced and sang and celebrated to the very end. Congratulations to these two, I know they will have many more celebrations ahead, but this one was the perfect one to start with.
