Hi there! I’m Katie, the proud owner and lead photographer of Katherine Nicole Photography. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know the couples I photograph and I think it is important that they get to know me because getting in front of a camera is hard!! Building trust and familiarity with your photographer is essential to creating beautiful images that truly reflect who you are. So who am I? Well, the proudest title I hold is Mom. My husband and I battled infertility for 5 years to bring our little boy into the world and I would do it a thousand times over because he is incredible. My husband is my best friend. My person. My lobster. My home is wherever he is and I would be lost without him. I believe in love. Strong, passionate, work your ass off for it love. I believe in art and its power to heal and communicate what words can’t. I believe in accepting our faults (rather than beating ourselves up for them) while still striving to be the best version of ourselves. I believe in being kind, especially to those who are not so kind. They usually need it the most. I believe that a good book can be the best vacation, pizza is the perfect food and the Golden Girls is the best television show of all time. Ok, Game of Thrones is up there too 😉 I am an introvert at heart, with a deep love for being at home. But I also love to interact with people, hear their stories and document their moments with my camera. Photography has opened up an entire world for me. A world of new people, places, cultures and traditions and I whole heartedly adore it all. This life looks nothing like I thought it would when I was younger. It is better than I could have ever dreamed. So let’s have coffee! Or a glass of wine! I would love nothing more than to hear your story.
